This contains three pamphlets, the first is an ‘Account of a New Anaesthetic Agent’, the second is ‘Remarks on Superinduction of Anaesthetia’ and the third is ‘Answer to Religous Objections’. Simpson was the first person to demonstrate that Chlorofom could be used as an anaesthetic and popularised its use in medicine.
